This is a text and
graphics adventure, first released for the Sinclair QL home computer by
CGH Services of Wales. It was written by Oliver Neef who produced
several high quality games for the Sinclair QL computer.
This is a huge graphics and text
adventure game, which fills 3 DSDD disks. It has a graphical display of
each location and a text description (similar to The Hobbit on the
Sinclair ZX Spectrum).
You control three characters (Otaga, Sador and Tana) who each have
different skills and abilities, in their search for Morkin, Prince of
Eldomir who went missing after travelling to the Isle of Eden.
The only thing is that on the way to the Island, the three heroes were
ship-wrecked, losing everything except the clothes they were stood in.
The game is played in real-time, with the passage of night and day
affecting what you can do - battle against the troops of the Dragrayan
Dynasty and explore the Island to find and release Morkin.
This adventure includes a
highly advanced interpreter, which allows you to enter English phrases,
such as OPEN THE DOOR WITH THE WOODEN KEY and so even those new to
Adventure games should be able to use this one fairly easily and
progress quite well soon after starting.
It does however, contain
lots of interesting puzzles, people and locations and will keep you
amused for some time to come.

"Simply the best game
I've seen for the QL/THOR XVI, and if your budget only stretches to one
game this year, I think you can guess which one it should be."
