Though I think it's a nice solution and it has very professional presentation (I'm really impressed to be honest), I'll give one idea for the future series of DivIDE+:

The +3 jumper inside is a problem for people who have both a +2A/+3 and a 48k Spectrum. I'm gonna solve it on my interface by adding a microswitch, but maybe it may be added to the board design on the future, or maybe find a way to move the jumper to the back, where the other two jumpers are.

Yes, I understand it is there cause is edge connectore related jumper but well, I'm just giving an idea and a reason you may have passed over to make that jumper more easy to access, how to do it easier is far above my knowledge, so it is just a suggestion

Another interesting feauture may be a way to disable the interface, that is, use the default Spectrum ROM, or at least a way to disable the tape load replacement.

Why?
I have to completely disconect the interface to be able to load a real tape, and in the future, when FAT writing is possible, that may be a nice option (load from tape, presss NMI, save to CF).

Hello guys!

My name is Jurek and I'm a manufacturer of divIDE Plus. I'd like to tell you that interface can be disabled by removing jumper on the back side. Jumper nearer to the IDE connector is for this purpose, the other one is for Master/Slave selection. Regarding +3 jumper - it can be located at the front (there is a place for it), but it will be hidden under the ribbon cable of through connector. Many people use divIDE only with one computer and it is not necessary to switch the jumper. However, if someone really need such possibility, I can add a switch - please add the message about it during placing an order.

Hmm thinking about when you transfer files from Spectrum - the issue would be that you cannot remove the jumper and disable the DivIDE whilst the Spectrum is running, or can you??

In fact, more than disabling the interface, it would have to disable the load routine replacement, so you can load from real tape and then save to IDE device using NMI. Anyway, at the moment, while there is not FAT write support, it doesn't really matter Smile

What it's good is the option to add a switch for the +3 jumper in the future as optional Smile

I think that performing an OUT 23,0 will disable the DivIDE Plus while the spectrum is running.
Whether you are in a position to perform such an OUT (i.e. in BASIC or able to call a few bytes of M/C) is another thing.
