how do i update the fatware on it, is it done via that fap file?

all sorted now, as have flashed esxdos on to it, but as people will know but no one mentions it you have to unlock the flash first.

Is that a standard DivIDE rather than a DivIDE Plus?

I ask because on the DivIDE Plus I'm pretty sure the write signal to the EEPROM is controlled from the Z80 WR signal and certain address lines (A13 to A15 I think). To erase/program it you need to send a set of commands using the z80 addr bus, data bus and wr signal. I believe the relevant pin on the M GAL that drives the WE signal on the standard DivIDE is left not connected on the DivIDE plus.

Removing the EEPROM jumper on the DivIDE plus just seems to disable it completely although I'm not sure how as my understanding of the GAL logic suggests it should only affect the write signal pin (which is NC).
