Initial Problems on Using your DivIDE Plus

A few customers have experienced problems when they first get their DivIDE Plus.

There is one slight issue with ResiDOS in that being stored on battery backed RAM, it can get damaged by x-ray machines. The simple solution is to download the latest ResiDOS file as a .tap file, store it on your compact flash card, and then select the .tap file with FATware and use LOAD "" to reinstall it on your DivIDE Plus.

ResiDOS can be downloaded from http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/downloads/residos.tap

The other issue is that you need to remember to force FATware to re-detect your compact flash card, or hard disk, before DivIDE Plus will work. This is achieved by holding down the SPACE key whilst resetting (or powering up) your Spectrum. The reason for this is that DivIDE Plus stores the last known settings, which will be whatever compact flash card we used to test the interface !!
