Hi All
Has anybody used the DivIDE+ with a +3. If so is it possable to use the +3 floppy drive to send files to the CF Card and copy files from the CF Card to the Floppy Drive. I have searched the Residos Manual but cant find anything.

ResiDOS doesn't support the +3 floppy drives (if there is sufficient interest, I may be persuaded to write an optional package to allow this).
However, there is a way to do what you ask. You need to:
1. Get a set of +3e ROMs (for the divIDE & divIDE+) and install them in your +3.
2. Format your CompactFlash card to the IDEDOS format using ResiDOS (or the +3e commands).
3. Restart in +3e BASIC mode, create a partition on the hard disk, map a drive to it and copy the files from the floppy (eg with COPY "A:*.*" TO "C:")
You'll then be able to access the files on the compactflash card under ResiDOS.
The main problem with this plan is that it means you have to format your compactflash card to IDEDOS format, whereas most people will want it in FAT format for easy transfer with a PC. However, the +3e doesn't support FAT format drives.
If you have a second compactflash or hard disk, this should be no problem; you can have one formatted in IDEDOS (which both +3e and ResiDOS can access) and one formatted in FAT (which only ResiDOS can access), and copy the files across using ResiDOS.
If you only have one card/disk, it is still possible to partition your card to work with both FAT and IDEDOS filesystems at the same time - see the +3e website for details.
